The feature, called Road Rage Reliever, allows stressed drivers to get revenge on another car in a peaceful manner without causing any accidents.
With the help of augmented reality, built into the windshield in partnership with Huawei, drivers can “civilly” release their anger by throwing emojis at another car.
The emojis range from angry faces to slippers and pigs, which can be virtually thrown at the car ahead, creating a video game-like experience.
The screen uses artificial intelligence to identify the annoying car, and the emojis can be launched using a button on the steering wheel. Still, experts fear that in practice, the tool may be a dangerous distraction on the road.
